Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose.
Catechism Question- "What is the chief (purpose)end of man?" Ans: To Glorify God in all our thoughts and all our actions.
Q: Are you called by God?
Note: the call of God is when he saves us.
One is to glorify him, where we are and with what we are doing.
example of Gods call : Rahab Joshua 2;1-14 He puts us in our situations.
Q. What situation has God put you in?
Two is to share him with others so that others might be saved.
Example: Esther 4:14a " And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this." (See also Esther 8)
Note: When we pray a prayer lik Betty Stams and surrender our whole life to God again instead of just one piece that we think God wants its hard because we recognize that means now in our present situation, not when I get into a really significant trial.
God commanded us in, I Peter 5:7 "Cast all you cares upon the Lord for h care for you"
Also the Psalmist. in Psalm 73:26 Encourages us in what we have now and in the future. My flesh and my heart fail, but, God is my strength (Rock note in my Bible, Hebrewword) of my heart and my portion forever"

Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
James 1:22,23,25.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:...
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Acts 9:5-6
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: [it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Psalms 46:10
10 Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
II Cor. 5:17-18
17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Luke 2:48-49
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?
Q: what is our Fathers heart?
Psalms 72
“1 ¶ <<[A Psalm] for Solomon.>> Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.”
“2 ¶ He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. 5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers [that] water the earth. 7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. 8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. 9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust. 10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. 11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. 12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and [him] that hath no helper. 13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. 14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight. 15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; [and] daily shall he be praised. 16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and [they] of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth. 17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and [men] shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.”
“18 ¶ Blessed [be] the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things. 19 And blessed [be] his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled [with] his glory; Amen, and Amen. 20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.”
II Cor. 12:9-10
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
John 6:63
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth(Gives Life); the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.
Eph. 6:10
10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
